New York City police officer Darrin Dawber of the 25th precinct, looks down Fulton St. after he survived the South Tower falling. He and fellow officers were sent under the tower where the PATH station was located, to help those who were trying to exit the building. Dawber would repeat multiple times "This is war, this is war." He suffered bruised ribs, a broken nose and injuries to his shoulder and knee and would retire immediately from the department.
