Ashley Lopez dances with fellow 12 year-old friend Garrett Joyner. One Friday evening each month some 200 Union, NJ, middle schoolers gather in the community room of Connecticut Farms Church to dance and engage in recreation. The Friday Happenings, are nondenominational dances that have been held for six years, and the church elder calls them a great community service to the township.
