In New Jersey and across the rest of America, every spring high school seniors go through the right of passage of their high school prom. A dance where the girls wear elaborate colorful gowns and boys stylish tuxedos where one can't differentiate their social or economic background because everyone is there to look their best that night. Teens spend hundreds of dollars for the special night. One thing I found particularly interesting and different from my prom in 1989 was the use of smart phones where the teenagers would document and report live about the prom using social media it either by tweeting Facebook or instagram.
